Excel and Access, LLCฎ - Excel
Consultants At Excel and
Access, LLC (Formally 'Central Data Financial Systems') we do Excel
Consulting.
We are Expert Excel Consultants. We are
also Expert Excel Programmers. And most of all, we are
Expert Excel Developers. What does that mean? Are the
three not the not the same thing? The short answer is yes and
no. There is a difference in the purest sense of the
words. Allow me to explain.
As an Excel
Consultant, what do we do? Well as the name implies, we
provide Advanced Excel Consulting Services. We work as Expert
Excel Consultants on a Excel Freelance basis. 'Consultants'
per say may simply provide verbal help, support, and
training without doing any actual work. This is not
always the case, but in general it is. The Excel Consultant
may teach you what it is you need help with in Excel, they can do so
over the phone, in e-mail, or using a remote access program such as
GoToMyPC. An Excel Consultant for example may tell you that
you need to look up how to do a Pivot Table in Excel on Google, but
this Excel Consultant will not create the Excel Pivot Table for
you. This is generally how Excel Consulting services
work.
An Excel 'Programmer' per say is an Excel Expert
that actually presses the keys in Excel. An Excel Programmer
will type the Excel based VBA (Macros), will write the Excel
formulas, Excel calculations, and Excel expressions for you.
An Excel Programmer will create Excel charts, Excel graphs,
etc. Excel programming is all about hitting the keys and using
the mouse. The Excel Programmer will do this in your working
copy of your Excel workbook and Excel worksheets. Excel
Programming Services are the most common form of Excel
Consulting.
An Excel Developer per say is an Excel
Expert that will go outside the Excel box. While Excel
Consultants and Excel Programmers generally work strictly with
Excel, an Excel Developer may use VB Scripts, SQL Server, Access,
Word, Outlook, etc., in addition to Excel, to get the job
done. An Excel Developer is the most advanced out of Excel
Programmers, Excel Consultants, and Excel
Developers. Excel Developers are always going outside of
Excel to get things done.
Using Excel with
Access is the best example of how an Excel Developer is
different than an Excel Programmer or an Excel Consultant.
There are hundreds of Excel Programmers and Excel Consultants that
do not know a single thing about Microsoft
Access. Then there are slews of Excel Programmers and
Excel Consultants that are familiar with Access, but on a scale of 1
to 10, are less than a 5 in Access. You do not want to work
with an Excel Programmer, Excel Consultant, or Excel Developer that
is not an Expert in Access. If you think of Excel and Access
as man and wife you will understand how well these two Microsoft
programs work together, and that the sum of the two is more than
their parts. Excel and Access should be used as one
application. Integrating and Automating Excel and Access
is something we do very well at Excel and Access, LLC, as the
name implies. We have been Integrating and
Automating Excel with Access since the programs were first
released. You will not find a firm that Integrates and
Automated Excel with Access, Word, Outlook, and SQL
Server better.
As Excel Consultants we work one-on-one
with our clients, remotely. We use the telephone, e-mail,
and remote access programs to provide Excel Consulting, Excel
Programming, and Excel Development services. We work by the
hour, not the project, billing in 15-minute increments.
Working remotely, working only as needed, helps to keep your
costs down. Why hire a permanent employee when we can do the
work in a fraction of the time? We only work when you need
us. Regardless if you call us Excel
Consultants, Excel Programmers, Excel Developers, Excel Wizards,
Excel Experts, Excel Gurus, Excel Masters, does not matter, just
call us today.
